About Us

Welcome to Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy for Math and Environmental Science!
Champlin-Brooklyn Park Academy was established in 2010 by combining two area elementary schools in Champlin and Brooklyn Park. As a Specialty school in the Anoka-Hennepin School District, the district's core curriculum is taught as in other district elementary schools. Through an integrated curriculum, students receive a unique learning experience emphasizing math and environmental science.
This is made possible by our on-site nature center, greenhouse and gardens, math lab, and strong community partnerships. All of our students work closely with naturalists from the Three River Park District as well as educators from the Minnesota Arboretum. Fourth and fifth-grade students go through the University of Minnesota’s Junior Master Gardener program. Our specialty focus is blended into the core curriculum and all of the learning that occurs at CBPA.
